Furry is a term applied to a wide ranging group of a specific social subculture which many inhabits the net but in recent years has seen publicity in many 'cons and even on television and radio.

The term furry is derrived from the word fur, unsurprisingly. That is generally a good place to stop, as after that Furry becomes a very personal term. In general however most furries (or to be more accurate Furry fans sometimes abreviated to Furfuns) like some aspect of nominally intelligent or anthropomorphised creatures (that's to say it's a animal that thinks really smart like or has human features/characteristics.) however furry can also be applied to non-nominally intelligent critters as well.

Anthropmorphic animals are ones (like bugs bunny, daffy duck, mickey mouse) which stand bipedal (most of the time) and have humanised thought patterns. Where as real animals tend to well eat other real animals and styff like that. Anthropomorphic animals are generally called furries, which is yes also what a group of furry fans is called.

For fullness of information non-anthropomorphic animals are sometimes called zoomorphs just to differenatiate.

So what does furry actually mean to me? Well it's Ky00te.

Ky00te (yes capital K, two zero's, the e is optional) at first started out a just a simple "hackerism" of the word cute with the addition of the y and the removal of the u. From that point on Ky00te developed into something dark and sinister that would start taking over the world, cute cuddly choatic creatures that just want to be hugged. Yes KY00TE is here to get you and hug you, it's very silly and much to cutesy.

That's why i'm ky00te, I myself and very silly but that's about where the comparision ends.

P&B++ = Means I like Pinky and the Brain a lil'

S&S+++ = Means I likes Skippy and Slappy Squirrel lots

R&R++++ = Means I love Rita and Runt

GDF- = Means I don't really like the Goodfeathers

B&M++ = Means I like Buttons and Mindy a lil'

HIP-- = Means I don't like the Hip Hippos at all

KK--- = Means I realllllly don't like Katie Kaboom and throw anvils at her.

MM+ = Means I like Minerva Mink a lil'

P[P+++] = Means I used to Post on Alt.tv.animanics a lot but am hardly there anymore.

I++{I++++} = Means I IRC quite a bit but will be on 24 hours a day soon.

Dpwifado = Means I have a great deal of "work" done (Postings, fanfics, drawings, websites) for A!

$++{$+++} = Means I've spent around $100 on A! goodies but will spend around $500 soon.

PonOinky = Means my favourite quote for Pinky is "I think so Brain but i'd be called Oinky otherwise!"

Xsniff = Means I thinks "Can I sniff you" is the sillyest thing that's been said.

it goes FFD4) and is an alter-ego, someone to draw and write about and a MU* character, she's an anthropomorphic critter. The next character is Runt (Canine Mutt and he's the one that goes CMf6) he's a cartoon character so can do weird cartoony stuff and is pretty much just a normal dog, Runt is someone to draw, write about and a MU* character.
The final character is my dog costume (C3c Canine unknown) and it's an anthropomorphic dog costume that I wear sometimes. *exhale*

A+ = Means I've drawn some piccies ya can see on the 'net. (Or you could if I had a scanner again...)

C** = Means i've been to a sci-fi con but not a "real proper" furcon.

D++++ = Means i've got plans to be burried in me fursuit, it's like a second skin to me.

H+++ = Means i'm a hug beastie, if it moves i'll hug it.

R = Means I don't care how a picture is drawn (as long as it's clean.)

T++++ = Means i'd love to actually be a fuzzy creature and wouldn't care about small print.

RLCT/AT = Means in Real life I'm a computing pleeb at university and will prolly go into tech support.

cw++$>--- = Means I use computers and make money from it time to time but in the future would prefer to use computers a lot less.

d-->+ = Means I don't like Doom but it's a okay way to pass boring rainy afternoons.
